MORSE Family Tree

Over many years my cousins, aunts and uncles have chronicled the family as they knew it. I am very privileged to have inherited such a wealth of information, and owe a huge debt of gratitude to these relatives.

The latest version of the Family Tree can be found (members only) at www.genesrunited.co.uk

Since 1999 my research has taken me, through internet searching, visits to the Church of the Latterday Saints, to the Family Records Centre and the Public Libraries in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent and Gloucester.

A big 'thank you' must now go to the many and several genealogists who have been in touch by email, having happened across this website.

If you would like to see a particular section of your part of our Family Tree, please let me know; I will be only too pleased to print it for you, my email address is at the foot of each page.

Thanks very much to all who have contributed!

MORSE Family Crest

The arms illustrated may be described heraldically as:

Argent: a battle axe in pale gules between three pellets, said to represent
cannon balls.

Crest: Two battle axes banded with a chaplet of roses; and
for the Motto: 'In deo non armis fido' - Trust in God not in Arms.

The colours are interpreted as silver-sincerity, red-magnaminity and black-wisdom.
